We had some wonderful participation at the Mini-Golf Marathon. This was a fundraising event for our school and was so much fun. There was music, sunshine, breakfast, miniature golf and fun for all that attended. All the proceeds from this event will go to math and reading programs at Canyon Crest. A HUGE THANK YOU to all who participated and were involved in any way in this event! Watch for this event again next year during the school year!
IT'S AMAZING! The children at our school have read 2,179,017 minutes since the beginning of school this year. They have almost doubled their goal for the year!!!!!!!!!! Four children had their names drawn from the container holding all of the reading tickets, Hunter K., Chase M., Nicole C., and Jacob G., and they won bicycles! Another reward was that some of the children got to do Mrs. Anderson's hair at the assembly on Thursday- and what a job they did! GOOD JOB to all the children for reading so much. It will serve you well throughout your lives. KEEP READING ALL SUMMER LONG!
The Gifted and Talented Class presented a wonderful play of Romeo and Juliet on May 26th at 2:30! Fantastic Job and a big thank you to all who were involved!
